Data comes live from the Google Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX) - real Chrome users over a rolling 28-day window, the same field dataset used in Core Web Vitals ranking signals. We show the 75th-percentile value (what your slower quarter of visitors experience) and the share of visits rated "good". If Google doesn't have enough Chrome traffic for a site yet, we say so honestly instead of inventing a score. Thresholds: LCP good under 2.5s, INP good under 200ms, CLS good under 0.10.
Real-user speed FAQ
How is this different from PageSpeed / Lighthouse?
Lighthouse is a lab test - one simulated load on Google's hardware. This shows field data: what real Chrome visitors actually experienced on your site over the last 28 days. Google ranks on the field data, so this is the number that matters for SEO.
What are LCP, INP and CLS?
The three Core Web Vitals. LCP = how fast the main content loads. INP = how quickly the page responds when someone taps or clicks. CLS = how much the layout jumps around while loading. Passing all three is the bar Google sets.
It says "not enough data" - why?
Google only publishes CrUX data once a site has enough Chrome visitors. Smaller local sites often aren't there yet. That's not a failure - it just means you can't use field data for that site right now. Try a larger competitor's site to see it in action.
Does page speed really affect local ranking?
Yes - Core Web Vitals are a confirmed Google ranking signal, and a slow site loses customers before they ever call. For local businesses on mobile, a slow LCP is one of the most common quiet conversion killers.
